A secretive group, this team prefers to let the Teku, Metal Maniacs and Drones fight it out before making their appearance. They rely on stealth and deception to gain the upper hand on their competitors.
The Silencerz employ human drivers and technicians although they have several floating, X-88 robots. In one of the final scenes in Breaking Point, the ''Bad Gigs'' (as my kids call them) seem to express disappointment in the Silencerz drivers almost implying a leadership position. The Silencerz X-88 robots also appear in the Racing Realms themselves...
The Silencerz cars are equipped with holographic camouflaging abilities capable of assuming the appearance of any other vehicle or virtually disappearing. Additionally, the vehicles can send out a disabling electrical pulse directed at other vehicles. Radio communications are jammed by the Silencerz as well. The vehicles also have the ability to magnetically attach themselves to surfaces - allowing them to drive in places that most cars cannot normally drive. Finally, the vehicles are equipped with a version of the EDR that not only brings the driver back to home but the entire vehicle as well. The drivers can also camoflague themselves by becoming almost invisible to human and Drones' eyesight.
Dr. Tezla was formerly a member of the Silencerz. When questioned by Kurt, Tezla indicated that the Silencerz had been stealing technology from him. It later turns out that he left the Silencerz, stealing Gig (an X-88 robot) as well as other technologies.
In Breaking Point, the Silencerz vehicles have the annoying habit of changing into other Silencerz vehicles. I don't know if these are errors or this is by design, but I've seen two Iridiums in the Neon Pipeline Realm, two Acceliums and two Covelights in the Junk Realm.
At the end of The Ultimate Race, the Silencerz are in possession of all the Accelechargers, the Wheel of Power, Vert?s Acceleron ring and Vert himself.
